At least he doesn't bother with makeup, even if sometimes Julian does think he might need some to cover up the dark bags under his eyes. No matter how aggressive or fast he tries combing it, strands of hair will just keep sticking out or curl in strange ways. Trimming his beard takes enough time on its own, not to mention how terribly frustrating trying to brush his hair is. If he has to take an hour locked in his bathroom to achieve that, so be it. He just thinks it's important to look at least presentable, even if he's not going out or there isn't any special occasion. Julian wouldn't call himself vain by any means but, well, maybe he does spend a long time in front of the mirror.
